Kriano was founded on a simple belief: businesses deserve senior expertise working directly for them — not filtered through layers of consultants or delivered by junior teams. Too often, risk and control work becomes about the report, not the outcome. At Kriano, I focus on what actually matters: helping boards and management teams understand their control environment clearly, fix what needs fixing, and make confident, evidence-based statements about how their business is run.
I spent my entire career at Deloitte, joining as a graduate and leaving as a Partner in the Cyber & Controls practice. During that time I advised FTSE100 and Fortune 500 boards, led large-scale SOX programmes across multiple continents, supported businesses through IPOs and major acquisitions, and helped organisations respond to the UK Corporate Governance reform agenda.
I also served as lead Partner on Deloitte UK's Future of Controls proposition — working with organisations to build risk-aligned, sustainable, and technology-enabled control environments. And I was part of the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology's working group that developed the Cyber Governance Code of Practice.
I currently serve as an Independent Member of an Audit and Risk Committee, which gives me a direct understanding of what matters to audit committee members, how they think, and what they need from management and their advisers to exercise genuine oversight.
Where a project requires additional scale or specialist capability, I draw on a network of vetted associates and offshore delivery teams. Clients get the right resource for the job — without being constrained by the capacity of a single practitioner.
I'm based in the UK and work with businesses across the country and internationally where required.
